Q: Please give us more information about this issue.
A: please stop the local council from wasting money, puting a pedestrian crossing that cost big money
at kings langley station, i am at the station twice a day morning and night. very very few people use
the crossing and why put speed bumps down near the station. the speeding cars and bikes start at the bottom of toms lane and head towards hemel hempstead why not put a camera along this stretch so not only do we have to drive down pot holesbut also have to have our cars repaired because of damage by speed bumps that cannot be seen at night

Q: Please give us more information about this issue.
A: Over the past year myself and local residents along north western avenue have been plagued by a vehicle scrap firm who have chosen to leave a vehicle for months on end in the already over crowded parking bays along our road advertising there services, these vehicles that are being used are extremely unsightly due to having a large toy car welded to the roof, I have also seen other similar vehicles dotted around watford, the company have left a notice on the dash board stating that the vehicle is taxed and moted with insurance. I have tried to report to WBC with no joy. There are notices in our bays stating that it is illegal to advertise cars for sale so could this fall in to the same bracket.

Q: Please give us more information about this issue.
A: In and around the Nascot Wood area, there has been a rise of anti-social behaviour. It is mostly from the teenagers who ‘hang out’ in the Cala Homes play area. They smoke marijuana, make fires and in general act in an unkind way. I would like this to stop.

Q: Please give us more information about this issue.
A: TEN surface water drains blocked solidly along Leavesden Road / Gammons Lane. Starting from the drain at the mini roundabout at the Gammons Lane/ Howard Close junction, all the way down on the ‘park’ side, and ending up at the drain outside the Price George pub, at the Leavesden Road / St Albans Rd junction. Not just a few leaves, they are blocked solid. Has been reported three times over the years on the Herts website, but no resolution.

Q: Please give us more information about this issue.
A: There is a problem with a drain in the road on the corner of Rickmansworth Road and Harwoods Road that continually floods when it rains. It is very dangerous as the water does not go down the drain and floods both Harwoods Road and Rickmansworth Road making it difficult for both drivers and pedestrians on this very busy corner and it could cause a nasty accident as cars could skid in the puddle

A: There is a big pot hole in Mildred Avenue, towards Park Avenue end, each time I drive home that way my tyres are being damaged & no doubt everyone else’s too.
Also, there is a problem on High Elm Road all along near entrance to school & along stretch of that road, which needs resurfacing or filling.

Q: Please give us more information about this issue.
A: We still haven’t been petitioned in zones CB regarding changing the parking restrictions to go beyond the time when most people will be getting home from work, vital considering the number of new properties locally that do not qualify (rightly) for a permit space and the new cinema on its way. When can we expect some movement on this?

Q: Please give us more information about this issue.
A: Many of the street lights on Boundary Way are not working, some are out of commission because of the regeneration – but many just don’t work. There are some area’s of the estate that have no light at all, and walking through alleyways at night is extremely unpleasant.

Q: Please give us more information about this issue.
A: Alley way between Hare Crescent into Woodside Estate causing a problem with litter, dog mess, broken glass & scooters been ridden late at night & sometimes during the day. This is a busy alleyway used by all, we have cleaned it up ourselves a few times but although there is a bin on the green we feel it would benefit from a bin in the alley. Look forward to your response Karen.
