COUNCILLORS DEMAND ACTION OVER POOR GROUNDS MAINTENANCE

The local Woodside Councillors have been inundated with complaints about grounds maintenance in the ward; particularly at the Haines Way subway and the pavements by the A405. Despite persistent calls to the ground maintenance contractors’, these areas are still overgrown to the extent that in some places, walkways are unpassable.

Woodside Councillor Karen Collett who lives on the Sheriff Estate said, ‘in all the years I’ve lived on the estate I’ve never seen it look this bad. The contractors need to be brought to account for the poor management of the grounds maintenance’.

The Woodside Councillors intend to bring this matter to a head by petitioning the contractors to complete this work immediately. Please join us in signing the petition in an effort to get this long overdue work completed.
