We want a footpath on both sides of Wiggenhall Road!

We need you to back the latest Liberal Democrat and residents' campaign.

The road widening for new turning lanes into the Hospital Link Road and Health Campus has removed a footway on the Watford Fields side.

It’s been explained that the land next to the road from the petrol station  at the junction with Lammas Road to the new road is in three private owners’ hands - including a company in Ireland.

Your Lib Dem Councillors are backing a bid to get the County Council to agree a footpath here.  The County Council approved this road layout that removed the path.

The County Council has been asked to look again at this. Please take a moment to sign the Lib Dem petition below to show how much support the footpath has. If you can help collect signatures in your road please email Steve Bolton:

Petition: Wiggenhall Road - we want a footway both sides

We, the undersigned, call on the Hertfordshire County Council to work with Watford Council to secure a footway on Wiggenhall Road from the petrol station to the Link Road and beyond. We need to have a footway on both sides of the road to ensure safety for children and pedestrians.
