Cllr Robbie Laird at the Nature Garden
We want to hear from local residents about the Buryfield Nature Garden and if there should be changes made to how we use the space.
Please let us know if you'd like to see the area changed to a more traditional park in the survey below.
You can contact Robbie Laird and Ian Stotesbury via email at: [email protected] or [email protected]

A: Not after 7pm to discourage drinkers.
A: If you DID NOT ruin a wild space. Leave it for the wildlife, that is what it was put there for. The stinging nettles need cutting back, that is all. Newts, foxes, birds etc, it is great. Please please don’t ruin it by copying every open space. There are plenty of pre-packaged parks nearby for people scared of outdoors and needing things to come in safe plastic. A community space does not necessarily mean open it up to the masses, it means serving different parts of the community, which this currently does. It is unique in that there is a pond and is not overmanaged, please try to keep it special.
