Tudor ward councillors were joined by local residents and Deputy Mayor Peter Taylor in undertaking a refresh of the street furniture and planters around Tudor Parade in North Watford.
Liberal Democrat councillor Steve Johnson of Tudor ward lead the team undertaking the repainting of planters, wooden posts and benches Cllr Steve Johnson said, "We helped get these features installed from our local budgets to improve Tudor Parade and felt it our duty to ensure they are well maintained and weather proofed. Over the past few years these clean-up and action mornings have made a real difference, and it is really positive to see local residents coming together to enhance our area."
Deputy Mayor Peter Taylor said , " I was delighted to do my bit and help with the painting and I want to thank Cllr Darren Walford who this year help secure support from Dulux on Bushey Mill Lane who kindly agreed to supply the paint and brushes free to help with the clean-up. This contribution of specialist weather proof paint is greatly appreciated and really helped."
