We the undersigned call on Hertfordshire County Council to reverse its policy of removing 49kms of road from the pre-salting winter gritting routes, including 63 roads in Watford and Three Rivers. We believe this is a false and unnecessary economy, resulting in roads that are used to access schools not being gritted in the event of bad winter weather.
