West Watford resident, John Munro has launched a campaign for Vicarage Road to be resurfaced, branding the current condition ‘an embarrassment’.
Conservative-run Hertfordshire County Council maintain local roads and pavements but the Labour councillors for the area have failed to get any improvements.
John Munro said, ‘For thousands of visitors, Vicarage Road is the main impression of our town. It’s an embarrassment. The road is full of potholes and pavements are in a very poor condition too. It’s time to get this fixed so that people visiting the hospital, stadium or elsewhere don’t get a really bad impression of our town.’
We the undersigned call on Herts County Council to resurface Vicarage Road.
