We the undersigned note:
- That the 324 bus route is a life line for residents living on the Meriden Estate, the Tudor and Stanborough.
- That recently the service has been poorly run by Arriva, with regular missed services to the estate leading to residents missing hospital appointments and being late to work.
- That the future of the 324 route is now under threat, with Arriva saying they are withdrawing from running the service.
- That if the service is withdrawn, thousands of Watford residents living in the Meriden estate will be left without any bus service at all.
We the undersigned call on:
Hertfordshire County Council to keep the 324 running even if Arriva cease their contract to operate the service as it is a lifeline for residents living along the route.
