Petition to object to Hertfordshire County Council's plans to reduce the opening hours of household waste sites
Hertfordshire Liberal Democrats strongly object to Hertfordshire County Council's plans to reduce the opening hours of the remaining household waste sites currently open seven days a week, including Waterdale, to just five days a week.
We also oppose the introduction of an imposed online booking system, which would restrict access to the sites to those who have pre-booked. These proposed changes are likely to result in increased fly-tipping and will significantly reduce accessibility for many residents.
