Stop ULEZ until Watford residents are supported to transition to greener transport options

The ULEZ will expand into the borders of Greater London in August 2023 and this will impact any Watford resident who works or visits people in London and drives a car which is not compliant.

Mayor Peter Taylor and Cllr Ian Stotesbury recently wrote to Sadiq Khan asking him to delay the implementation of ULEZ and to ask him to:

  • Support Watford residents with a scrappage scheme
  • Rezone Watford to Zone 6 to make transport more affordable

You can read the letter and find out more information here.

We believe that as Watford residents pay into TfL’s budget, Watford residents should benefit from the scrappage scheme and deserve better fares.

Halt ULEZ expansion until Watford residents are supported

We the undersigned call on the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan to scrap the expansion of ULEZ until residents of Watford are included in the TfL scrappage scheme, public transport receives more investment, and TfL stations in Watford are rezoned to zone 6.
