Liberal Democrats Campaigns Chair
The Campaigns Chair is responsible for providing leadership, strategy, and direction to the party's electoral efforts. The core duties of this role focus on driving campaign success, planning and coordination, and managing volunteer operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Leadership: Provide overall direction to the campaign team, ensuring the local party is working towards an agreed vision and development plan.
- Targeting & Data: Use the party's latest campaign techniques and data systems to identify and prioritise target areas and voters.
- Literature & Messaging: Design, produce and coordinate the distribution of campaign leaflets, digital communications and social media content.
- Volunteer Management: Recruit, train and support campaign volunteers, while coordinating canvassing, doorknocking and voter contact activities.
- Coordination: Work closely with the local party, regional party, LDHQ (Liberal Democrat Headquarters) and ALDC organisers to maximise campaign effectiveness and electoral success.
