Cllr Tim Williams
(Local Councillor for Stanborough and County Councillor for Stanborough and Woodside)
Tim Williams is a Watford Borough Councillor for Stanborough Ward, with over 20 years’ experience as a Borough and District Councillor. Since 2017, he has also represented the Woodside Stanborough County Electoral Division. First elected at the age of 22, Tim was motivated by a strong desire to help residents with the issues that affect their daily lives and to ensure their voices are heard by the Council. That commitment remains central to his work today.
He is actively involved in matters such as planning, road conditions and safety, street cleaning, and community policing, and regularly works with residents’ associations to improve the local area. Born in Hillingdon but raised in South West Hertfordshire from infancy, Tim has lived in the Watford area virtually all his life. He now lives with his family in Lamb Close, just off Sheepcot Lane. Married with two children who attended local schools and clubs, Tim and his family also maintain an allotment at Briar Road.
Away from the Council, Tim has worked as a Credit/Finance Manager and is a trustee/director of Watford Workshop. He is also a long-serving school governor and active in many local groups. In his spare time, he enjoys fitness, gardening, jogging, and supporting Watford FC.
