Cllr Gabriel Duduta
(Local Councillor)
Gabriel Duduta was born in Romania, he moved with his family to the UK in 2011 and has lived in Watford since 2016. He is currently serving as a councillor for Park Ward since 2024 and is also the Secretary of Watford Liberal Democrats.
For much of his career, Gabriel worked in civil service, including serving as a firefighter in Romania, before continuing his public service in the UK. In professional life he is now Deputy Lead of the Volunteering Department at Watford General Hospital, where he oversees projects that support patients and coordinates volunteers across the hospital sites.
Gabriel is passionate about strengthening the community, giving residents a strong voice in local decision-making, and building a fairer, more inclusive Watford where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Cllr Peter Kloss
(Local Councillor)
Peter Kloss has lived in Watford since 2011. He joined the Liberal Democrats shortly after the Brexit referendum in 2016, and has represented Park ward as Watford Borough Councillor since 2018.
Peter was formerly Chair of the local party (2020-22), and is now Head of Campaigns, overseeing, planning and organising all the campaigns Watford Lib Dems run.
In his professional life Peter is a consultant project and change manager, helping both large and medium sized organisations successfully deliver major change in the way they operate. Peter is also involved with the Inclusive Multi Academy schools Trust in Watford (as a Member).
He loves cricket, travelling, and music festivals. Watford has turned out to be a great place to live for Peter and his family, and he feels that it is a privilege to represent the local community, further liberal values, and give back to people.

Cllr Penelope Hill
(Local Councillor for Park and County Councillor for Meriden and Tudor)
Penelope has eight years of experience working in the education sector; prior to that she spent five years working on large-scale and high-profile science events at England's two largest science festivals in Cheltenham and Manchester.
Penelope has a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Edinburgh (where she spent a year as an exchange student at UC Davis) and an MSc in Science Communication from Imperial College London. She is the local councillor for Park ward and the Meriden Tudor county councillor.
