Crossmead home insulation project

A partnered project to insulate 34 Watford Community Housing Trust (WCHT) homes in Crossmead has recently started.  The project is part of a successful £3m bid between Watford Borough Council (WBC), Three Rivers District Council, Thrive and WCHT to externally insulate social properties.  

To help facilitate this WBC are allowing a small section of Riverside Park (opposite Colne Avenue/Riverside Road junction) which will be fenced off securely for the duration off the project to be used for site welfare.  

Cllr Kennedy Rodrigues has discussed this arrangement with WBC officers and some local residents, to ensure low levels of noise from the site. The project is aiming for completion in the early summer.
