Oxhey Footbridge Update

County Cllr Stephen Giles-Medhurst has been on the case regarding the "temp repairs" that were undertaken to the damage to the bridge back in March 2020. At last Network Rail have confirmed that they have agreed a plan for Herts County Council to replace the "temp boarding".
Work is scheduled for the week of 20th March and is expected to last for 5 days. Rather than closure HCC will be utilising 2-way traffic signals over the road bridge. They anticipate the works to take place between 9pmand 4.30am to avoid much disruption. The final sign off from Network Rail is still awaited at the time of writing.
